Unlike a permanent four-post gazebo, this model uses a center-pole umbrella structure. Four fabric panels hang from selected canopy points to frame the shaded area while keeping the sides open for access and airflow. This layout is suitable for dining sets, lounge furniture, poolside seating and seasonal outdoor displays where a full enclosure is not required.

LOTUS CANOPY STRUCTURE

The reference lotus form is created by overlapping two five-point canopy sections, producing ten extended points around the perimeter. This gives the umbrella a larger visual profile than a standard round market umbrella and creates separate overhanging sections around the edge.

The raised central layer provides an airflow path at the top of the canopy. It should not be described as a certified windproof system. Wind performance depends on the production frame, fabric tension, base weight, anchoring and final testing.

FOUR DROP SHADE PANELS

The four vertical panels are designed to reduce glare and low-angle sun from selected directions while preserving an open-air layout. Panel length, width, color blocking, attachment points and removal method should be finalized during sampling.

For retail packaging, include a clear diagram showing the correct panel positions. If removable panels are selected, the attachment hardware and storage method should be included in the approved bill of materials.

FRAME AND BASE CONFIGURATION

Similar lotus patio umbrellas use a powder-coated aluminium pole with fiberglass ribs and a hand-crank lift.
