Custom 9 x 9 ft Stretch Beach Canopy with Four Fillable Anchor Bags

Instead of relying on buried stakes, this canopy uses four bags that are filled on site. The filled corners create outward tension, and the two poles raise the stretch fabric into a broad shaded area. When the day is over, the sand is emptied and the soft components pack into a short carry bag. The reference footprint is nine by nine feet. Shade position changes through the day, so pole placement and the direction of the fabric can be adjusted as the sun moves.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

Lay the fabric flat and pull the four anchor bags away from the center.

Fill each bag generously with dry or damp sand and close it securely.

Extend the poles and position them under the canopy edge.

Lift the fabric, then move the anchors until the canopy is evenly tensioned.

Recheck tension whenever wind direction changes.

On rocky ground, the bags may be filled with smooth stones if the seams and local site rules allow it. Sharp objects should never be placed directly against the fabric.

COVERAGE THAT PACKS SMALL

The open-sided design gives users a clear view of the beach and lets air move below the fabric. Unlike a framed gazebo, most of the shelter is soft goods; that is why it packs to roughly 19.5 inches long and weighs about 6.5 pounds in the reference configuration.
